You know, #NewWaveWeds was a lunch-time tradition (maybe not for y’all, but it was for us!) So in honor of #NewWaveWeds ,help us get this Weekly Weds Lunch Guerilla Catering/Delivery going startin’ tomorrah y’all.  Get some BALLS, Malay Chix Curry and/or Vietnamese Beef-tacular in yo’ MOUF (and remember the “Good ol’ days” of SK… until we resurrect lunchie-munchies sooner rather than later of course ^_^)

PS-I might have already shared this video once before.. but WTH, it’s THAT good :)

Yo SK fans! We’re FINALLY starting this crazy idea I dropped before closed our original space to deliver lunch to YOU WEEKLY in Cal Plaza (at a designated pick-up between 12-1p that is ^_^)

So how does this work? (this is how we THINK it will work at least):

• You pick/order the dish/ticket you want
• We know what to make you
• We’ll email you a meeting point
• We bring the food to ya at the designated meeting point and meeting time
• ..and we try again next Weds!

Meeting point: TBD (we may keep this SUPER “underground” and just email those that “buy in” directly… when we figure out where *wink wink* ;D)

Time: between 12-1p seems to work best

Payment: we’ll do it pre-pay to keep it simple when we “deliver,” but this time around we DO have to “pass the buck” literally of the EventBrite fees to ya until we get our system on-line (but it’s worth it kids, we promise!)

MENU:

So we’re going to keep it simple in this round.  EVERYTHING is a (white) rice plate like we did back “in the day” with your choice of Entree/Protein on top o’ rice w/ a side of Vietnamese Salad and… Japanese Garlic Noodles (if you remember thems tastiness :D). You want pics, drool over them above, they’re ALL there! ^_^  If you can’t wait, then DON’T! Order it above, and gets that deliciousness back in yo’ MOUF! ^_^

Dear Cal Plaza/DTLA “kids,” SO we’ve been talkin’ about doin’ wkly lunch caterings soon, and it looks HIGHLY likely we’re gonna start this Wed, May 1st (prolly Malay Chix Curry, Viet Minced Beef-tacular + TOFU BALLS over rice w/ Garlic Noodles+Viet Salad). With that said, if I said you could pick up between 12-1p, would that work for y’all???

And since we’re talkin’ about lunchie-munchies, do all 3-4 people reading this remember how we USED to do #NewWaveWeds ..well why don’t we listen to some New Wave in honor of that (because I LIKE New Wave ;D)

Someday we might have a whole concept built around #FriedChixandPandanWaffleWeds w/ cheesy slogans, colorful Hot Dog on a Stick-like uniforms predominantly adorned by apathetic high schoolers who wear “flare” where chicken is sold by the bucket and the highlight of the day is the “Panda Hut Value Meal” run out of a former banana stand because… “there is MONEY in the banana stand” ;)
