Bacon Infused Waffles
(submitted by Breda via baconbaconbacon)
Alrighty, so we were out late night to support our good friend, Timothy Linh Bui. We just saw his film, POWDER BLUE, for the first time and it was a delight to finally see this film and meet Forrest Whitaker too (sorry, no pictures from us). You can buy the film on Amazon HERE
What does that have to do with anything? NOTHING, but since we have a forum for our food and ideas, why not let others know about other things going on with… LIFE! ^_^
…Now on with the show!
This next post we wanted to include an OBVIOUS hint of what we’re not. “What are you talkin’ about Willis?” Well WILLIS, we’re talking about this picture above which is a GREAT example of what we are NOT making- bacon infused waffles. But let me make this statement now,
DAMN those look good!
So good we’re going to figure out how to make ‘em, but for our own personal use. Unfortunately, I don’t think bacon infused waffles will work well with our concept w/ tacos, burritos or a sandwich. You might say, “That’s BLASPHEMY you speak,” and to that I say- anything other than fruit and maple syrup is truly an insult and blasphemy to the artery clogging goodness represented above. Click on the thisiswhyyourefat blog link above if you want to see more fatty concoctions we won’t be making for public consumption (but maybe for ourselves at home ^_^).
A quick reminder for all our fans and friends: please invite others to join as fans and please spread the word. We’re aiming to make this into something real, and make this business one BAD MAMMA JAMMA!
On a closing note, here is a tasty Korean treat we discovered today at the supermarket:

This TOO is obviously not related to our next dish. What IS relevant is that you can use these treats to make friends. SERIOUSLY, if you look closely that’s what they say on the packaging:

I’m going to try that tomorrow. If I don’t make one new friend tomorrow, I’m going to my corner and cry!! Oh, you silly Koreans and your misleading advertising of harmless sweet potato snacks that act as crack substitutes to further the anti-drug campaign of “Snacks not Crack.” So SILLY!

PS - I love Koreans!
PPS - …and your snacks!
