Starry Kitchen

If you haven’t figured out the motif for the pics above, read ‘em out loud. If it still doesn’t work, it’s like that thing a young bride’s supposed to have… except I worked it into our food service (that’s not sacrilegious or something right? ‘cause that part ain’t religious at all): Something OLD, NEW and something we DO

OLD = Ginger Chili flavored chicken-wings. THIS will go into the R&D Dept, and also was consumed in less than 6 minutes. It was SOOOO F’ING good! Seriously, these were SPECTACULAR. If you don’t know us, know something now. We LOVE our chicken wings. I’m already thinking of incorporating these into our plan. If you haven’t see all the pics of the chicken wings, check out our Facebook page (click the linked thing on the right if you dunno we’re to find us).

NEW = Japanese hamburger curry from today. This is a pic of the burrito, and let me tell ya… WOW, this was especially good today. We’ve done a couple of burger/ground beef dishes, but this one came out AWESOME! The beef+pork by itself was spectacular. It really was quite moist and full of flavor that it could have possibly stood on it’s on. And that’s NOT a joke or any sensational hard core selling on my part… it was THAT good. But then we added the Japanese curry, and as one of our loyal customers/friends put it (*cough* BEN LEE *cough*) - it’s his new fav! And that says a lot for one that always comes down and orders “the usual.”

DO = have you ever seen DRAGON: THE BRUCE LEE STORY where Bruce Lee (god rest his kung fu fightin’ soul) has to go to the underground Kung Fu Kounsel for their approval of him teaching the “gwailos” (that’s honky white people to you and me… oh wait a minute, you’re a “gwailo”… umm, the nice version of it is “round-eye” then… but trust me, the Cantonese version ain’t so nice but this way we can all get along ^^). Remember that scene? I think he gets his ass handed to him (thanks to the bad guys always holding somekind of powder to throw in the good guy’s kung fu focused eyes… why do they always have this powder anyway… is it just me?!?!?)… but anyway, in the hall they’re all playing this game with the green blocks with the sounds of blocks smacking, old men smoking and lots of Chinese people saying “blah blah blah…. LAAAAA” (MAHJOHNG. Come over sometime if you want to play. We play the “weird” way = we don’t gamble. Old chinese people think me and my wife are strange. They’re like, “If you don’t gamble, what’s the point of playing?” And some people wonder why some of the popular gamblers in the world are Asian (and why Macau is the gambling capital of the world)… crazy!

See ya Wed nite, 6-9p. What are we serving? We’re not sure, but we’ll let you know via somekind of electronic transmission… or if the internet’s down, does anyone know where to find the nearest carrier pigeon? Anyone?!?!?

Until then, on the topic of Bruce Lee… check this vid out. BRUCE LEE vs. IRON MAN (this is some stop motion madness)
