Back to a reblog of one of my now FAVORITE food related blogs on the face of the PLANET. I mean… I love this mutha frickin blog as if it was my second illegitimate son (no offense to my first or third illegitimate children… who of course don’t exist… at least that I know of ^^).

I don’t need to present to you what you’re already looking at… but let me RE-ITERATE, the buns are NOT bread, they’re DEEP FRIED PATTIES. You know, we (I’m just talking to us fatso Americans now ^^) eat lots of stuff at greasy spoons or similar, and sometimes we say “WOW, that’s a heart attack waiting to happen!” I’d like to think (in theory) this one takes the cake… or the proverbial “hamburger” if you will.

We at TEAM SK can safely say we’ll never make this dish (at least for public consumption). I will say that I, Nguyen Tran, am CRAZY enough and COMPLETELY obsessed with this burger that one day… some day… while I can still walk, talk, breathe and consume.. before I die.. I WILL TRY THIS BURGER. I am SOOOOO obsessed by this mammoth monstrosity of grease and meat. Some are obsessed with the Yeti, others are obsessed with the Loch Ness Monster, there are even a few obsessed with Megan Fox, but I am obsessed with this and I don’t think I can truly live until I lay my grubby hands on a PATTIE LABURGER.

I have a prediction for a nick name this burger has or should have, “THE WIDOW MAKER!” or more appropriately in the subtext it should say “Pacemaker set and/or extra battery not included.” Hey, I’m just saying it in jest… but if I find an obituary (we’re getting into scary territory here for a food and Pan-Asian taco blog here peeps) I’m going to be THAT much more curious about this strangely fascinating concoction. I’m sure there aren’t any, but gosh darnit this burger looks beef-tastic!

REMINDER

We’re not back, so we’re not serving. Maybe tomorrow I’ll do a re-cap of ALL of our dishes. That would be nice. I can then set it up as a psuedo menu of things we’ve made… hmmm… but with so many high-cholesterol creations like this one how can I concentrate???
