Starry Kitchen
While out and about today, the KITCHEN NINJA stopped by a place RIGHT down the street from us that’s gotten a lotta great reviews on Yelp called VICIOUS DOGS.  I mean, one of our new regular patrons (cough… Jeff… cough) gave us and them a 5-star review (and of the 7 he’s posted thus far… we’re the only 2 5-star reviews….SWEET), so we had to take notice.  That and how did we live here for 2 years and NOT know about this place.  I mean we love us some hot dogs, corn dogs and sausages.  That’s some good sh-t no matter where in the world you’re from!
Btw, do you like how I kinda bleeped myself to make these posts outside of the “Natto Bukkake” immaturity from earlier today more reader friendly?  I thought you might like it CHUCK NORRIS!!!
But anyway, it’s pretty effin good.  Really, it is!  Showcased here in all it’s glory is the Sweet & Spicy Kielbasa.  Me, the “anonymous” and faceless blogger got a little bit more than “toaster leavins” (remember Married w/ Children anyone?… ANYONE???), and let me tell all 4 of you SK blog readers: it’s TASTE-LICIOUS (thanks Jeff!)
So this begs a couple of questions, but my main one is “WHY HAVEN’T I HEARD OF THIS AFTER LIVING HERE FOR 2 YEARS?”  And the answer to that is one of the very motivations we started SK, and why we intend on keeping a presence in the valley and more specifically North Hollywood: there really isn’t much good or popular food here!  We’re not known for great food, and people don’t talk about it either.  But hopefully that will soon change.  I mean, if Christopher Walken can recite lyrics from Lady Gaga’s ‘Poker Face’, anything is possible.  Anything.
On that note, if you’re too young to remember that iconic theme song from the show that brought you Christina Applegate, the voice of Leela on ‘Futurama’ (Katy Sagal) and “toaster leavins”… here ya go (and I implore you to watch the Christopher Walken video in a previous post HERE if you haven’t already… absolute hilarity! ^_^)
Love,
TEAM SK
