Hey foodie fans, YUP, that’s us and Susan Feniger. We met her last night at the Dine LA Chef’s Roundtable (among many others), and she’s just as sweet and as personable as we all think she is from TV, pictures and other stuff.  We *HEART* SUSAN (especially ‘cause you liked our Crispy Tofu Balls LOL). HUGE Thanks goes out to Carrie Kommers of Dine LA.. we EFFIN *HEART* you too for inviting us to cater this. It was a WHOLE lotta fun to feed and meet tons of other foodies, aspiring chefs and… well REAL chefs too! Okay, enough of that… got’s to get going, but don’t forget… it’s NEW WAVE WEDNESDAY (does anyone like this anymore?? ach who cares.. it’s our blog ^_^) Man… I LOOOOOVE this song in karaoke… and this is the first time I saw this video… WHOA it’s HILARIOUS! WHAT ABOUT THE DINE LA ROUNDTABLE TIX?

This one’s gonna be simple considering how little time we have to give ‘em away.  It’s gonna basically be: show us how much you love, hate and/or inbetween SK! It can be a poem, it can be a tweet, it could be a video, it could be an inspired recipe and it can be a nice email (*cough* i.e. Mr./Mrs. Chief Critic *cough*). Whatever you want, just be creative… and well, keep it light too. Levity and creativity is all that matters.  Contest ends at lets say… hmmm 12 Noon Monday, June 7th.

And if you do submit something, just let me know otherwise I’m just going to think it’s just some random mumbo-jumbo to give me a nice and cheap laugh. LOL

TODAY… is the LAST DAY for… CRISPY… TOOOOOOFU.. BAaaaAAaaaLLS (and it’s tasty companions: KOREAN GLASS NOODLES + PINEAPPLE FRIED RICE) I think I that kinda sums it up for today … Ooh Ooh YEAH… Looks like the SK Mac+Cheese (+BACON) was well received last night, and guess what… we’re still making it better too!!!  So come to SK Din Dins (6-9p) and enjoy yourself some SKMC (as some people have already coined it)… or get some other grub.. such.. Welcome back from Memorial Day weekend… this is the LAST week for the CRISPY TOFU BALLS! (great way to wake you up, right??) So rather than “dilly-dally” (i.e. I’m running out of time again this AM to write any banter to bore you to death), here’s what’s going on: BYE-BYE (at the end o’ the week): The much beloved and written about… CRISPY TOFU BALLS If you want to try ‘em, now’s the time.  When will they be back?  Not sure!  It could be sooner than we all expect, but until then you might as well get off yer lazy arse and give ‘em a shot! :) And they’re not the only one going away! KOREAN GLASS NOODLES (“japchae”) HI-HI: The return of… CHINESE HOISIN HAMBURGER For those that have eaten with us long enough, it MIGHT seem we’re in a pattern here (we followed the Japanese Meatball Curry with these last time too) I can assure you we are NOT! :)  We wanted to do a new beef dish, but unfortunately aren’t quite ready considering we had to make sure to get dinner going (as it is now… YAY!) DINNER?!?!? (aka DIN DINS!!!) Yup, itza REALLY happening.  We’ll need to post better parking directions as it SEEMS people aren’t reading ‘em all, but yes dinner (THURS+FRI/6-9p) is most DEFINITELY on.. at least for most of the foreseeable summer. For those that have eaten with us long enough, it MIGHT seem we’re in a pattern here (we followed the Japanese Meatball Curry with these last time too) I can assure you we are NOT! :)  We wanted to do a new beef dish, but unfortunately aren’t quite ready considering we had to make sure to get dinner going (as it is now… YAY!)
