Quick “timeout” from promoting all sorts of @dine_LA -liciousness (but it IS the last week for it ALL y’all!) to ask this question:
What if SK made a Superbowl Snack Stadium like the one pictured above made up of banh mi sammies, DOUBLE-FRIED SWEET GINGER CHICKEN WINGS, VIETNAMESE EGG ROLLS and CRISPY TOFU BALLS? I think that would be pretty frickin’ SWEET! haha (maybe next year y’all.. MAYBE next year ^_^)
(and if you read the note below, even this Vegetarian could respect this AWESOME feat in the name of football LOL)
And while we’re at it, why don’t we take a trip down memory lane and watch the hilarity that was the ‘85 Chicago Bears SUPERBOWL SHUFFLE! (I forgot how long this thing was LOL)

If I haven’t told you before, while I DO love food (if you don’t check out our Facebook Fan Page at all or often, take a gander why don’t you to see how we stuff our faces.. or more like how I stuff my face since I’m kinda a human garbage disposal!), I also LUUUUUUURVE the internetS!! Why? Watch the video above… it’s pretty AWESOME-LY soothing version of the TEARS FOR FEARS song “MAD WORLD” … SWEET!! And, btw, it’s such a nice song… to eat Pan-Asian Comfort Food with too! (I know, I know… but a guy’s gotta try, right?)
Well, hope everyone’s enjoying their RESTAURANT WEEK(S). We just had our lone DINE LA meal at… PETROSSIAN (and it was FRICKIN’ AWESOME… thanks for trying to stuff us Chef Ben Bailly!). Just in case you wanted to see a sideways picture of us there, here you go:
Alrighty, it’s time to go. SLIGHT rotation update: yup, we’ve decided it’s gonna be the SAVORY SAKE TOFU make it’s way OUT at the end of the week. So if you like it… you know what to do!
On a similar note, all the items from the DINE LA menu (Chix Wings, Viet Eggrolls, CRISPY TOFU BALLS, Exotic Thai Fruit in Coco Milk & Young Banana + Tapioca in Caramel Coco Milk) ALL disappear (from the lunch menu) after this week too… or do they? Hmmm… something to consider. No really! Ya never know…

Oh, did I mention tonight’s the ONLY night for Din-Dins this week? I didn’t did I?!?! Well it IS!
We got rented out for a private holiday party tomorrow/Friday night, so if you want to enjoy CRISPY TOFU BALLS, DOUBLE FRIED SWEET GINGER CHICKEN WINGS, 4.5 CHEESE MAC+CHEESE(+BACON) and/or a whole other smorgasbord of deliciousness (at least we think so!)… come on by TONIGHT for the parking validation, and MAYBE even stay for the food! LOL

Before we get to this picture mumbo-jumbo above: today’s the LAST full lunch day at SK AND the last Din-Dins night for the week. Looks like we’re gonna do use tomorrah to clean house, and we’re gonna try a “Pick-up-and-go” idea for those that wanna pop by and still want/need some grub before the July 4th holiday.
So that does mean… TODAY’S the last official day for the CHINESE HOISIN HAMBURGER & Korean Glass Noodles (Japchae) too. I know… this surprise is “nads kickin’ worthy!!”
I know, that sucks for some of you (all two of you) planning on coming in tomorrow. NOoooOOOooOOO. You know what I do when I get all depressed, mad and getting the itch to kick someone in the nads… why I pop in some CUTTING CREW of course!

DUDES, this was SO much fun last year and probably THE most influential event in the short history of SK. There’s gonna be so much food, lots of crazy culinary talent (not just trucks anymore foo’s) and they limited it to three different sessions so it should be a WHOLE lot LESS crazy. So come out, enjoy, and see a possibly new SET of outfits (what? we kinda like to have fun at SK… and is that so WRONG?!?!)

Otherwise, for anyone that’s curious… the food truck hijacking was fun, was a learning experience (i.e. it’s a LOT harder than you think it is) and yes.. we did serve Jonathan Silverman (MAN I love “Weekend at Bernies”) LOL

This shiz is GOOD ya’ll! We’re not making it too spicy but we ARE making it with FRESH basil which makes ALL the difference. We MAY increase the price for the upgrade of this (from $1 to $1.5 since Basil ain’t so cheap ya’ll and $.50 ain’t breakin’ the bank either… or is IT!?!?!), but we promise ya’l’ it’s mighty TASTAY!
