DOH! Time escapes me today.. so rather than blog a whole lotta nonsense (my favorite part if you ask me), here’s what coming in and out:

And in case you are one of our two readers (ok, it’s really only one… ME! waaaaah) that knew about the Beer Float Showdown #3 this past weekend, we didn’t win (but we found more people liked our SALTED PLUM HABANERO ICE CREAM w/ PLUM POP ROCKS than WE even expected.. NICE!) but here’s a nice video montage of us and our competitors/friends at this fun event (we’ll get you next time Andre+Jan! haha) Enjoy-

So we started in February (the 16th to be exact ;D), and it’s August now. Who woulda thunk it, huh?!?!
Ok, that’s enough reminiscing for today. Let’s get onto business, shall we?

(for those of you at pesky offices with pesky firewalls blocking “time-wasting” file-sharing sites, you can just click the menu image above to get around all that mumbo-jambalaya instead o’ clicking the link on the left and getting… rejected! <- how’s that for a relevant and yet rambling run-on sentence for ya?! ^_^)

See that R&D picture above (I know, NOT very sexy.. but when you eat it, you may think differently LOL):
SK KARA-GE
AKA Chicken Karaage and Japanese “Sesame Fried Chicken!” Either way, they’re juicy morsels of deliciousness that belong in your mouth today (we insist!)
Aside from that, while one of the fan faves (or most hated by garlic-wussies) the Japanese Garlic Noodles are gone, today also marks the return of the OTHER fan fave side:
KOREAN GLASS NOODLES
AKA “japchae” or “glass noodles of awesomeness.” So for those of you that didn’t like the garlic noodles (WHYYYYYYY?), I dedicate this video to you ‘cause we know how much some of you LOVE these noodles instead (and if you’re a native Spanish speaker this video comes chock full o’ Spanish translation.. o’ BOY!). And if you need me to spoon feed ya a lil more, imagine that “SOMEBODY” is Mr/Mrs. Korean Glass Noodle ^_^:

Sorry veggie fans, it’s about time Mr (or Mrs.) Game Changer #2 has gotta go:
CRISPY KIMCHI RICE CAKES

The dish that started it ALL for SK (the BRAISED COCONUT PORK&#8230; and now made w/ BELLY!) is back on foo&#8217;s!!! If you want a short history with a picture of me in a sombrero and poncho, you need not look any further than HERE!

I teeter on whether or not this is my FAVORITE dish of all time (with the pork belly it SURE does help), but it&#8217;s definitely up there. It&#8217;s so f&#8217;ing GOOD!
And after much crying, complaining, whining and did I mention&#8230; crying?!?!

Welcome back from Memorial Day weekend&#8230; this is the LAST week for the CRISPY TOFU BALLS!

(great way to wake you up, right??)
So rather than &#8220;dilly-dally&#8221; (i.e. I&#8217;m running out of time again this AM to write any banter to bore you to death), here&#8217;s what&#8217;s going on:
BYE-BYE (at the end o&#8217; the week):
The much beloved and written about&#8230;

If you want to try &#8216;em, now&#8217;s the time.  When will they be back?  Not sure!  It could be sooner than we all expect, but until then you might as well get off yer lazy arse and give &#8216;em a shot! :)
And they&#8217;re not the only one going away!

For those that have eaten with us long enough, it MIGHT seem we&#8217;re in a pattern here (we followed the Japanese Meatball Curry with these last time too) I can assure you we are NOT! :)  We wanted to do a new beef dish, but unfortunately aren&#8217;t quite ready considering we had to make sure to get dinner going (as it is now&#8230; YAY!)
DINNER?!?!? (aka DIN DINS!!!)
Yup, itza REALLY happening.  We&#8217;ll need to post better parking directions as it SEEMS people aren&#8217;t reading &#8216;em all, but yes dinner (THURS+FRI/6-9p) is most DEFINITELY on.. at least for most of the foreseeable summer.
DINE LA ROUNDTABLE TICKETS?!?!?
Last note, for any of you foodie fans that tried to get into DINE LA ROUNDTABLE event (that we happened to be catering ^_^), we&#8217;ve received TWO tickets to giveaway.  Still trying to figure out what to do, but the most popular answers on our Facebook Fan Page are: a dance-off OR drink-off!  
Not sure how we would do either one, but it would be fun and hilarious if we did!!!  Details to come out soon on how we do this, but Facebook&#8217;s probably the best place to check if you want updates. :)
Okay, that&#8217;s it today&#8230; gotta get some bread and make some grub for lunchie munchies.
