Kajagoogoo..KAJAGOOGOO!! That’s what the name of this group is that sing’s “Too shy to shyyyy.. hush hush, eye to eye!!” Seriously, it’s not a joke. I didn’t even know that until I sought out the video today for NEW WAVE WEDNESDAY (I literally could just start and end the post w/ their name ‘cause I’m still laughing about the name! ^_^)

Well, since that’s outta the way…

It’s COOOOLD out there, so get your asses some CILANTRO SCALLION MEATBALL SOUP and/or “Check-in” for a FREE warm YOUNG BANANA + TAPIOCA in CARAMEL COCO MILK dessert too. I mean sheesh.. it’s no the 80 degrees we had on Monday (this weather is so WEIRD!)

(beep beep beep) CHICKEN NEWS

• don’t forget that this week’s the LAST week for the SK KARA-GE (more popularly known as the “Japanese Popcorn Chicken!”)
• and we are most DEFINITELY moving forward w/ FRIED CHICKEN NIGHT(S) for this Thurs+Friday Din-Dins! Seems to be a popular idea, so know this now… quantity is limited. I might change it to reservations to help make sure no one angrily picks up a chicken bone off someone elses table and throws it at me because we ran out for the night. Don’t worry, I’ll let all 4-5 of you readers know! LOL

(beep beep beep) NOODLE AND RICE NEWS

• don’t forget it’s the LAST week for the Kimchi Fried Rice too
• and it’s HIGHLY LIKELY it’ll be the last week for the Korean Glass Noodles (aka “Japchae”) too

Alrighty, now you’ve been warned (even though most of you’z probably don’t ever read this far down… I know, I’m TRICKY!!! LOL)

Happy week…???.. OMG, do I TRULY not remember what week we are? Is that a good or bad sign, huh?!?!  I think it’s 16, or possibly 17… but I’m not sure. But WTH, time to revel in not counting the days (or…ummm.. WEEKS) and just trying to grow this mamma jamma. ^_^

SO the CRISPY TOFU BALLS are gone, and why do I bring this up?? Well, I think after 2 weeks of dinner services, we’re going to instate a new and fairly consistent rule: Whatever we rotate out of for lunch, we will continue for one more week at Din Dins ONLY!

What does all that jibberish mean exactly? EXPECT CRISPY TOFU BALLS for Din Dins this wk, and it’s your last chance before we take ‘em away for a lil bit. M’kay?! ^_^

WHAT ABOUT THE DINE LA ROUNDTABLE TIX!?!?!?

Oh yeah, as of this post you also have about 2.5 more hours to submit for the DINE LA ROUNDTABLE event tix.  In the last day, I’ve gotten some REALLY good submissions too. I’ll share ‘em tomorrow.  Good stuff :)

• SAVORY SAKE TOFU (VEGAN!)
• KIMCHI FRIED RICE
• PEANUT CILANTRO DAN-DAN NOODLES (not veggie-friendly)

First, read the menu if you want a nice lil ol’ description on the tofu (don’t be deterred cause its Vegan… it’s still delish). Secondly,the DAN-DAN NOODLES aren’t veggie friendly only because we do use chicken stock to flavor ‘em. SO, if you can eat that, GREAT! If you can’t, you can at least say we didn’t lie to ya. ^_^

So much to talk about, and so little time… but why don’t you start off your week by watching this fun little romp of a YouTube video. It’s quite entertaining, and it stars… ADRIEN BRODY! LOL (thx to friend Justin Mandel for posting this on his Facebook page.. I just saw it this morning, “stole” it and felt like posting it here… and it’s HILARIOUS)

Dear CHINESE HOISIN HAMBURGER,

Today maybe your last day for this lunch rotation, but its the first day for… Ach.. who am I kidding. This week you’ve been living in the shadow of the Taiwanese Fried Pork Chop (who can blame ‘em), and for that I apologise to you my tasty ground Nebraska Angus beef “child!” But regardless, ya gots to go (after today ;D) along w/ the KIMCHI FRIED RICE too.. O’ MY!

So I’m sure some of you that are extremely bored are asking, “.. And what does this picture of awesomeness also know as the Double-fried Sweet Ginger Glazed Chicken have to do with any of this?”

And to that, I say, “I’m hungry, and I want to share my love for these chix wings with you!”

Well, since we’re still here, don’t forget:

CHEESY-LICIOUS BYE BYE Video Time… HOORAY!!

You know, ONE day, whether we’re successful or living with our parents again (which could mean we’re SO successful we’ve moved in with them… HEY, it could happen), I’m going to look back on these absurd (some would say.. absurdly BRILLIANT! LOL) posts and wonder about…

NOTHING! haha

Naw, I’m never gonna look back and regret these (until I do something I regret that is! :D)

SO time’s a wastin’ and I gotta get cracka-lackin’ (yeah, people still use that… right??) on the day.

TODAY IS THE LAST DAY FOR:

And we made an executive decision to nix the ever popular:

• KIMCHI FRIED RICE

I know, I know… lotsa ya love it (we do too!), but we do and gotta ROTATE the menu.  But I PROMISE next week’s rice makes sense with a dish we already have on the menu, and with what we’re bringing next week too.

We hope everyone had a great time this weekend! Whether it was at the GRILLED CHEESE INVITATIONAL (maybe we’ll compete next year!) or the totally SWEET and hip-ly independent design + gift show, UNIQUE LA (I got me a SWEET shirt from there!), it was a great and non-crappy weekend to be out-and-about in our fair city (if I don’t say so myself).
