So @theColorMeBadd showed up on Friday… and OK, we mighta lied ‘cuz we still have a LIL bit more SK KARA-GE w/ housemade Ginger Ponzu Dip-liciousness left. Only for another day or two though y’all! So if you were already missing ‘em.. you still got TIME! ^_^
And yeah, considering how much I’ve been joking around about Color Me Badd for weeks now, how crazy is it that they were in town, got back to together and actually ACCEPTED my invitation to eat at SK (and agreed to take that hilarious picture above too LOL). And yes, we even went to the CMB + All-4-One concert in Redondo on Saturday too.. I felt like a little 90’s girl I was so happy! (tee hee hee)
But enough of that, back to chowing down because aside from us lying about the SK KARA-GE, it ain’t no joke that it’s the… LAST WEEK for the NEBRASKA ANGUS JAPANESE MEATBALL CURRY foo’s!

(and did you know “rigamarole” is a REAL+ACCEPTED word… what’s this world coming too. I’mma look up more seemingly non-sensical words and see if they’re real!)

Well, I just found out you can do “remixes” so here’s a remix of the original video (and DISREGARD the Pineapple Fried Rice reference since… well, we ain’t servin’ Pineapple Fried Rice right now haha) Scratch that, I can’t get the video to work fer some reason. DOH!

So before we start the last Din-Dins tonight AND the last chance to get the NEBRASKA ANGUS JAPANESE MEATBALL CURRY… for the YEAR (because the year’s almost over y’all, dun worry.. it’ll ALWAYS come back ;D), I wanted to take a quick moment to quote.. umm.. MYSELF on our recently announced PHO NIGHT we’re doing Thursday, Dec 15th!
We’ve tweeted about it, talked about it, blogged about it, Facebooked about it, whispered to your mom, sister, lover, lover’s lover,your dentist, his mistress and FINALLY:
PHO NIGHT IS ON SUCKAS!
“Is this a special Pho?” you might ask, and our answer is.. “DUH!” If you wanna get technical, it’s an Oxtail+Bone Marrow+Beef Knuckle Pho made w/ a lil bit of French technique, a whole lotta love and then stewed for about 16 hours for maximum beef-liciousness (and if you’re Vietnamese, this ain’t Yo Mamma’s Pho neither!)
It’s not to say it’s better than the normal Pho out there (because we LOVE us some Pho), but it is a LIL bit different.. a LIL bit richer and possibly a LIL bit beefier than some/most Pho’s out there!
But really, regardless of technique, time and whatever.. we just wanna make PHO!
FYI-Pho is LIMITED! We estimate we can only make enough for ABOUT 70 bowls. If RSVP response is HUGE, we may consider figuring out how to make enough for more (but it’s up to the Kitchen Ninja on that one!)
PRICE: not sure, trying to stay close to $12 if possible (we know, that sounds EXPENSIVE for Pho, but this is a one-time thing for us right now AND we’re using a lot of expensive ingredients too!)
So come on out, we’ll give even more specific details on what’s served w/ as it gets closer (like we’re looking at including Wagyu beef & a tasty+aromatic roasted lemongrass dip).

I just want to make that clear because I KNOW we’re going to miss some people at the sheer sight+thought of these elusive+”radioactive green” (some of your words, not mine! ^_^) tasty balls that we still get requests for nearly on a DAILY basis! So we’ll see a whole lotta ya tomorrow. (or tomorrah if that happens to register with your brain a lil bit better/betta LOL)
