NEW: the CRISPY KIMCHI RICE CAKE (aka “Game Changer #1” aka “the Gateway Kimchi”) is back on! I’ve been told it’s kinda like Arancini (click the link if you wants know THAT is… which is delicious too)
… and LASTLY, the answer to the “curious” riddle above. Team SK’s have been “d-bags” (aka DOUCHE bags) long enough. We’ve never consider your input, we’ve acted like we haven’t cared and we’ve just chosen dishes on our own whim… well NO MORE! Just thought I’d let you know.. “I’m not crying” because today’s the last day for the SWEET+SPICY GINGER FRIED TOFU, the SPICY KOREAN BLACK PORK BELLY (tonight ONLY y’all) AND/OR (because I’m not sure) possibly the DURIAN FLAN CHEESECAKE (maybe for a week or two or three only… but that’s all.. or not at all!)
…And yes, I am on a Flight of the Conchords kick, but I just LOOOOOOVE this song so much I had to. It was this song that completely sold me on these guys/show and etc. I mean, come on he’s “making a lasagna… for ONE!” LOL
But anyway, hope everyone had a great week.. and if you haven’t, come get some MALAYSIAN CHICKEN CURRY! It’s a great anti-cruddy-weather meal, and we’ve made more so we only run out by 2p now instead of 1p ^_^

Ahhhh.. We’re back home (LA!)from.. Home (Big D!)!?!?
(The most important thing to really know- our bribery of SPICY “CRACK” KRAB CAKES is over.. Well, EXCEPT for the teeny-tiny stash we have left ;D)
So it was good times in Dallas- we saw family, ate 4 chicken fried steaks (YES), had fun at our very good friend Matt Grygar’s wedding, ate even more good food (like Twisted Root where this AWWWWWESOME sign in the pic above comes from) and now I’m happily back a “Fatty McFatty!” ^_^
But anyway, back to the “routine” (whatever that means) and this week is the FINAL week for the SPICY KOREAN BLACK PORK BELLY
#1-please enjoy me going “Office Space” on this bitch-ass-Printer-and/or-Scanner video. It was fun for me (cause I REALLY hated that printer and/or scanner!)
#2-two more days for the MALAYSIAN COCONUT PINEAPPLE CHICKEN
#3-Din-Dins is back on tonight ALSO w/ the SPICY KOREAN BLACK PORK BELLY (yuuuum… fatty-liiiiicious!)
Lastly- if I haven’t mentioned before, that food-foolery known as LQ@SK is BACK ON starting this weekend. A lot of the reservations are filling up, so if you wants in… make that ressie foo’!
Alright off to the “races”… and actually to buy a new printer and/or scanner since I smashed that one GOOD (it was already broken, so I just did what was “needed” ^_^)

Btw, we had to do something that might seem kinda D-Baggy and possibly breaking our “No D-Bags” rule, but we have to charge a $1 premium for every order for the SPICY KOREAN BLACK PORK BELLY. :(
Sorry about that guys, when they say “food costs are going up”… they ain’t kiddin’ y’all! My costs have almost DOUBLED versus when we first started serving this. We hope you don’t mind (because it’s REALLY tasty especially in a banh mi sandwich ^_^)
And in other bad news (even though I wouldn’t consider a $1 premium THAT bad of news… maybe) it’s the LAST week of the CHINESE HOISIN HAMBURGER chockos. If you want some of that tasty and saucy-liciousness, time to get “eat on” now.
And the LAST piece of bad news (yeah, there’s actually more… well, not for everyone): LAST week for the Korean Glass Noodles (aka japchae). The classic Korean (and also SK) side is making it’s exit. You want some of dis (and/or the CHINESE HOISIN HAMBURGER).. come a gits it!

PS- if you’re really bored and like to read random articles about anything, I was quoted yesterday on an article about Groupon and how I think a lot of people that use ‘em are “cheapos” (really, that’s what I gave as my quote).
