Starry Kitchen
Ohhhh week 11! How you THOUGHT you could evade us and never see the light of day, but ALAS we have crept up on you and now that we’re here all we have to say to you in this incredibly long run-on sentence is: “MALAYSIAN CHICKEN CURRY!!!!” Now scurry and be on your merry way because we gots business to tend to. :) HELLO AMERICA! We hope everyone had a great time this weekend! Whether it was at the GRILLED CHEESE INVITATIONAL (maybe we’ll compete next year!) or the totally SWEET and hip-ly independent design + gift show, UNIQUE LA (I got me a SWEET shirt from there!), it was a great and non-crappy weekend to be out-and-about in our fair city (if I don’t say so myself). But you’re not here (as usual) to read my musings and jibba-jabba, but instead to see what’s up this week. NEW If you didn’t figure it out, the KITCHEN NINJA has bequeathed onto us the STRONG and TASTY gift of: MALAYSIAN CHICKEN CURRY (as pictured above ^_^) If I haven’t told ya personally, via email, text, Facebook, facsimile or by a carrier-pigeon… I LOVE CURRY!  And my favorite in all the SK-Land is this one.  YUMMERS! RETURNING Yup, we have a returning category today. Against what I thought wouldn’t work, the Kitchen Ninja has again vetoed my ignorance, proved me wrong (as she rightfully should) and brought back a HUGE fave DTLA: KIMCHI FRIED RICE This needs no tasty re-introduction outside of the fact that its… KIMCHI in FRIED RICE! YAY (and the land re-joiced by also buying many a breath mint to counter their addiction for this beloved fried rice) LEAVING May I should have lead with this, but by this point in time only 2 of you are left (1 of which… is always myself ^_^): CRISPY KIMCHI RICE CAKE (aka GAME CHANGER #1) That’s right.. it’s goin’ away! The KITCHEN NINJA’s brilliant creation is leaving us. If you’ve tried it, come and get it before it goes away. If you haven’t, it could be 2 MONTHS before it comes back. Maybe sooner, but probably not chockos. :) Alrighty friends, gotta get goin’ and make some grub.  Hope to see ya this week before we bid farewell to our friend GAME CHANGER #1! Toodles, TEAM SK
