Dear all 3 readers:
I love food, Black Cherry sodas & indie films (like Surrogate Valentine ”conveniently” pictured above & part of which was actually shot at SK… no joke!) ^_^

I may be Asian on the OUTSIDE, but I’m just a whole confused jumble of culture (and Black Cherry soda) on the inside. :)
What does that have to do with the LAST WEEK we’re serving the TAIWANESE FRIED PORK CHOP (& don’t forget the Japanese Garlic Noodles too)? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING (but do you like how I snuck in the reminder veiled in a question of relevance.. kinda SNEAKY right?!?! ^_^)
So enough of the classy culinary (but TASTY like the MALAYSIAN CHICKEN CURRY haha) mumbo-jumbo, off to the trailer of Surrogate Valentine JUST in case you might be interested in checking it out, purchasing the DVD and/or the music (I think I will be buying Goh Nakamura’s soundtrack and play it at SK soon actually… it’s quite nice on the ears).
Why should you check this out other than being bored? First, I really liked the film! Secondly, if it means anything, I’m friends with these guys, worked with them on another film I’m really proud of called WHITE ON RICE (<- this is actually where I got the now infamous banana suit from.. HOORAY!) and they’re some of the NICEST people on earth. I mean, why not support nice (and talented) people, that’s a good enough reason as any, right? ^_^

Well, if you’ve gotten this far on the post and are still thinking (I need a Sexy Sax Man to end this post)… MAN have I got the right YouTube vid with my FAVORITEST karaoke song for you!
(I have to thank Gary Chou for posting this on his FB wall, and allowing me to steal this as if I originally found the video myself! LOL)
Hope to see ya in for lunchie-munchies today.
Much love,
TEAM SK
